We are so grateful to those who support us and other local farmers and vendors at the Market. The Farmers Market is where you can meet the farmer who grew your food, learn about the humane and regenerative practices used to bring fresh from the farm food to you, and get tips or recipes to prepare their products.
Greenfield Highland Beef began vending at the Capitol City Farmers Market in 2007. We have customers who have not missed one of our markets since then (unless they were on vacation conquering their next mountain.)
We have made a commitment to sell locally, with all of our beef sold within 50 miles of where it was born and raised. We are a cow/calf farm and never buy feeders or stockers. Every piece of beef we sell is born on our farm, raised by its momma, living the best life we can possibly offer. We believe people are entitled to know how what they eat was raised and cared for.
