Highland House Farm Stay

Have you ever wanted to comb a Highland cow? Relax while enjoying exquisite mountain views and gazing at the oldest registered fold of Highland cattle in the US grazing nearby. Highland House is on a working farm raising champion Highland breeding stock and grass-fed beef, with daily farm activities you are welcome to join or observe. On a low-traveled country road, your stay is convenient to a large variety of attractions and fine restaurants in Montpelier, Stowe, NE Kingdom, Burlington, and Canada.

Highland House is a brand new 2022 two-story home, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The master bedroom and bath are on the first floor with two bedrooms upstairs and full bath upstairs. There is a full basement with a ping-pong table too.

The hardwood flooring downstairs is Vermont Natural Yellow Birch. With large 5' windows the home is filled with natural light.

The Farm Stay is on the property of the hosts however guests cannot see the host's house nor the Highland house, but because this is a working farm, the hosts are usually nearby if needed.

You will be able to see the fields where the cattle graze and the barn where much of the farm interactive activities will take place. The view from Highland House is second to none, and almost every night you will be treated to a spectacular sunset extravaganza.
